KFC Barkingside - High Street — Restaurant in London

Ordered a 14 piece bargain bucket dinner and it had 10 chicken legs in it. Also ordered a large amount of hot wings (think it was 16 pieces. All of them were the wingette rather than a mix of wingette and drumette.

I was in a rush so didn't check but have done before and had to ask for a mix of pieces.

They said they were sent boxes of chicken legs and had to get rid of them but this happened over 6 months ago so can't believe they haven't used them all up.

Could it be that chicken legs and wingettes are the cheapest cuts they can buy?

The chicken is always overcooked and the chips undercooked. The beans always look like they have been sat in the warming trays for days.

You can't blame the people working there but the owners have a lot to answer for as they cut costs and so the quality suffers.

I will avoid buying from here again and travel to Ilford or South Woodford as their food is so much nicer.

A really bad franchise! KFC should pull them up on the terrible service they provide and they sully the...

The number of times we receive the wrong orders…. On the 29/12 I Paid £26.61 and the delivery chap just brought the wrong food. They can’t replace and deliver the correct order and refer to care squad. They can’t provide a number for this service either. The level of incompetence here is mind blowing…

Update: liaised with card squad who can’t do anything. Just referred me to Just Eat who seem pretty useless too. I called Barkingside again and they just said: Call Care Squad (Care Squad doesn’t have working phone numbers) and they just defer it to either deliveroo or just east. I told him several times that I had already done this to no avail. The person on the phone didn’t care at all, just kept referring to Care Squad which is not helpful at all.

Moral of the story: don’t ever order from KFC Barkingside - they are complete oblivious and can’t even get a simple order right. I will get the refund via my credit card company I reckon....

IF I COULD GIVE ONE STAR I WOULD! ! ! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This is the second time I have ordered close to £40 worth of food for my family from this barkingside KFC and I am disgraced at not only the poor quality in food, but also the disgusting behaviour and dis-acknowledgement of the customer what so ever.

I ordered £35 worth of food and I had to make sure everything was inside as half the items was missing. Every time I prompted what was missing, it was as if I was asking for a favour! Not only that, my cousin is allergic to mayonnaise and I SPECIFICALLY asked that I have no sauce inside the burger and they still managed to forget. Once I brought this to their attention, I did not receive a single sorry or care in the world.

I will not be going back to this KFC after spending £100's in different branches.
