Cookies and Cream — Restaurant in London

DO NOT ORDER HERE! I ordered two cookie doughs and 2 crepes spending over £50 when adding the service charge and delivery and all of the items are inedible. The cookie dough was entirely burnt masked by chocolate drizzle and the crepes were rock hard, the consistency of tree bark, When contacting the restaurant they blamed the driver for the quality of the food and were ill mannered when I asked for substitutes. They said they couldn’t! Owning my own restaurant I know that any hospitality industry can re create an order so that it meets the health and safety requirements. To eat any of the food we would be compromising our health. After one bite an immediate tummy ache and that’s just from the topping. Food is obviously not cooked fresh to order and wouldn’t be surprised if the sauces have passed their expiry date. Literally feeling ill after a bite. Unable to eat and the restaurant refused to send fresh food nor refund my money.

Save your health and save your money. It’s ridiculous that above all that the restaurant ignored the complaint and simply blamed the driver.

How can you run a restaurant knowing you are selling old, stale, rock like foods and expecting people to continue to purchase.

I will be contacting foods standards agency as I truly believe that the food that is being ‘cooked’ here does not meet health and safety...

I am very unhappy with my experience here. I placed an order for a product (Belgium waffle) advertised on their website for 5.95. After placing the order over the phone he claims that the price is 8.95. I ask him about this price change in which he replied that the website wasn't theirs. I reassured him that I was looking at the right website which was for cookies and creams, barkingside, Ilford, where the price for the waffle is 5.95. But he continued to argue with me that the website wasn't theirs and the price I was saying was wrong. I was going to buy two of these waffles for my children and would've payed 18.00 for it. I’ve just ordered a chicken chip cookie dough and I’m sure it will be fine as I’ve ordered this many times from these guys via Deliveroo.. it comes with the soft scoop ice cream out of the machine normally which is a great accompaniment with the Cookie Dough.. only one time it came with the ice cream from a tub as on one occasion the machine wasn’t working.. made the mistake of ordering this from a different cookies and cream before and the cookie dough was smaller and the ice cream was out of a tub which isn’t nearly as nice.. but this Barkingside branch is the one to go to for the choc chip cookie dough.. personally I can’t say anything about the other stuff as I haven’t had it but the regular ice cream I’ve had from here which was decent and this cookie dough I’ve had many times and it’s...
