Rowans — Restaurant in London

Rowans SW is a café style establishment, which offers excellent food and exquisite coffee but so much more besides.

I have visited twice with my girlfriend, the second visit was made on the strength of the first. They have a fairly extensive menu, which caters for a range of tastes including vegetarian options. On my first visit, I chose panini with roasted vegetables, which I saw on my way in and it tasted just as good as it looked. We had a smoothie each, of which there is also a good selection and I had the most delicious coffee I have had in a very long time. There are many tables in Rowans which, on both occasions I have visited, were largely unoccupied. The staff are friendly and attentive and the place has the feel of a family run establishment. It is smart and clean and the toilets are clean as well (a sticking point for me). It is a pleasant place to spend time.

I would have no hesitation recommending Rowans, it is a breath of fresh air amongst the usual fast food joints peppering most high streets, a nice place to spend time with the added bonus of...

I am so glad we can go back to Rowans now we are out of lockdown...I’ve been coming here for many years with my husband and now we can bring our little baby here.

She had her first meal out with me & my hubby today. A lovely carbonara and made such a mess. We We were so embarrassed but they were so kind about it. I felt much more confident as due to the pandemic I haven’t been out much to restaurants with a baby...

So child friendly in there.

And most importantly - there food is delicious.

I always have the classic burger. It’s a hangover cure also haha! And the honey and lemon hot drink helps with all those colds we keep getting now we are mixing more!

The staff and management are the nicest people...

Clean and comfortable areas to eat/drink. Baby changing facilities and toilet are lovely and clean.

A cosy café with a HUGE selection to choose from, good prices and food is quick to be served but still high quality, indoor and outdoor sating available

The menu choice here is the biggest I've ever seen anywhere - perhaps not in terms of how many items but in the diversity of items - Chicken/beef burgers, pizzas, omelettes, fish and chips, cold and hot sandwiches, kebabs, soups, salads, pastries Have only been 3 times but so far everything I've tried has been very tasty

Staff have always been friendly and have greeted with a smile, been quick to check the tables are clean and ask which drinks we would like, also to bring the food and check up mid-way to make sure all is fine
