The Smithfield Rotunda Garden is a tiny circular space with a circular path, benches, and Play equipments arranged around a statue of "Peace" in the centre. Jumping boards, balancing steps, and playground spinners are among the accessible playground accessories. The park is entirely covered in mature trees, which offer beautiful shade everywhere. The City of London Corporation does an excellent job of maintaining the lawn, providing a wonderful green space for those who live and work nearby.
It is situated between Smithfield Market and St. Bartholomew's Hospital, two well-known landmarks in the neighbourhood, and is open from sunrise till night.
It's a fantastic location for lunch, rest, or relaxation in between jobs, shifts, or shopping!
The slope that descended to the underground station that formerly existed beneath the garden is still visible. An all-day parking lot is now available!

Waste ground for a time, the site was finally laid out as public gardens by the Corporation of London and opened to the public in 1872. A drinking fountain with a bronze figure representing 'Peace' was erected in 1873. Geometric sculptural seating was installed in the garden in C21st, with inscriptions relating to the history...

No matter what the weather the sun always somehow manages to flood this square with light where office workers enjoy their lunches while others sit on the benches looking at the statues and contemplate their place in these times of peace. The past and present are always close in London and hopefully Duke's Garden will be in this very spot for hundreds of...
