A fantastic experience. I had lunch here a few weeks ago. My 11 year old daughter and myself looked at a few places on Edgware road and this looked very clean and reasonably priced. My daughter didn't want a lot to eat and ordered a plate of falafel with hummus. I went for a lamb kebab with rice and salad. First off I'd forgotten about middle eastern hospitality so the food just started coming almost immediately. Complimentary bread and soup for us both as well as salad, hummus and tzatziki dips. The flat bread was gorgeous, freshly made and bubbling hot. So that was the complimentary starters! Then the main courses arrived. The lamb kebab on rice was really good and my daughter enjoyed her falafels. When they cleared away the food I had to apologise because we had left quite a lot on our plates (because there was so much) then there was tea and a baclava to finish. When the bill came I had to look twice, it was so cheap and the food had been so well prepared and delicious... and such large amounts. Considering this is central London £17 seemed like a bargain. (the next day we spent the same amount on a couple of sandwiches and soft drinks, which were rubbish in comparison). All in all this is a really excellent restaurant and I have nothing but praise for it. I wouldn't hesitate to go again or recommend...
Read moreTravelling from Birmingham and a long day at the museums in London we needed to eat. We asked a local shopkeeper on edge ware road where they could recommend. They mentioned this restaurant and we are glad we stopped by here.
The service is excellent. They are efficient in clearing up the tables as it’s a busy restaurant but you do not feel that whilst eating which is a plus point.
This restaurant is definitely a family friendly place to eat at.
It’s clean, a lot of staff to serve you, they have a baker who makes the bread and serves it to you.
This restaurant served us complimentary starters of two dips, bread, lentil soups, salad, and last but not least tea! This restaurant is very generous to their guests (customers)
We ordered a mix platter which came with okra and bean soup. The meat and chicken tikka was sooo soft and tender.
I am used to spicy food but this food did hit the spot and my children thoroughly enjoyed the food too.
Thank you for your service. We will definitely be back again and try the yellow rice I saw someone else eating that...
