This place is hell on earth. Went to make a figure with my partner of ourselves and I couldn’t regret it more. We went on a quieter day and time as to avoid the weekend which would have just made it all so much worse, but it was still jam packed. They let way too many people in at a time.
Parents here have a total lack of parenting skills. They let their kids run wild, cut queues, stand right next to you as you’re making your figure - just watching with absolutely no personal space. One even grabbed me. And their parents stand there watching with them too, doing nothing. Wants a nice cute experience, but clearly not. It’s just full of tourists who have no concept of politeness. And when I said excuse me can you parent your child as to not touch strangers, they didn’t even understand the problem. Ridiculous.
They also have no queue systems in the store other than the tills. There are only six screens up stairs to make your figure but many many people waiting for a screen, so screw waiting politely for one everyone just shoves and pushes to get one. Make a queue system immediately.
It is the same for the cheaper version where you can make 3 figures for £7. Absolutely no limits of people per time, kids grab as many things as they want/can, often grabbing you and asking for your items. The lack of parental skills is truly astonishing. And although they are not allowed to grab an unlimited amount of items, there is no staff intervention and so there is nothing left for anyone else.
I therefore wouldn’t bother with the £12 option. They don’t really sell you the reality of what it is. You don’t make your whole figure on there or personalise or customise it to look like you. You simply draw on a plain top. None of the tops are nice or cute and that is all you get to customise. Draw your name on a top with a heart maybe for £12. You only get the torso for £12, as everything else you change in the customise section. Just get 3 for £7 and save yourself.
The main problem is once you’ve paid to make your figures, the options are terrible. Staff told me it is all the random, unsold, unwanted figure items that are there and none of the nice items. So if you’re coming to make a lookalike you have 0 chance. If you want a robot superhero zombie on a surfboard, you’ll be fine, as long as they’re bald. Girls are all forced to have the same hair which none of them looked like and the outfit...
