The Old Cinema is my favourite thing about Chiswick - a mini department store full of an amazing selection of secondhand furniture and homey items. There's something for everyone here whether you're a traditional type or a trendy - gleaming oversize oak tables, Art Deco leather club chairs, school desks, tube signs, kitsch glasses... It's a Tardis of a store, with ever-changing stock - I've learnt the hard way that if you like something and don't buy it, it won't be here next week. Only downside is - woo, those prices. Like your "pair of vintage blue table lamps" for example, which you've listed for £285 and labelled as "circa 1980". When I reverse google searched the image, I discovered that they are Indian made, regular table lamps called "Teal Blue Raj table lamp" which are being sold by many other outlets for £50 or less. Shame on you. If anyone has common sense, they'll ask for a certificate of authentication or something. Please don't lose your money to lies like...
