In on Sunday 19, evening. We had tried a number of times to phone about the table quiz but got told wrong information about being able to register. Service was poor, the chap with long hair behind the bar must have seemed to think certain customers an inconvenience for him, served with a few grunts. We got told food service finished at 6 due to quiz which was fair enough. Only a few hours later for us to see food being served in the bar did not bother to disrupt the bar staff to have grunt boy boy snarl a bit at us. Tall chap short hair behind the bar was nice, chamged a drink which had been served using a shot measure still containing baileys from before, causing the drink to be cloudy. Read moreMorden Hall Park is a larger park with paths and even a boardwalk. The river Wandle splits in two providing extra features and makes the place even prettier. It has wild areas, big open areas and a lovely rose garden with pagoda. The old snuff mill, stables with bookshop and sometimes and art/craft gallery, plus two cafe's, garden centre and water / fish store too. It's a charming lovely place to get away from it all.. Kids and dogs open splash about in the shallow rivers.. Morden Hall itself is rent out out for events but is run separately...
Read moreI have been visiting Morden Hall Park for years and when first going there back in early 2000's the Stable yard was not open. It is a welcome addition to this beautiful National Trust Park. With a small visitors centre, cafe and miscellaneous shops...and public conveniences! Clearly during the lockdown things are different but the cafe still serves (take out style) following full social distancing. 👍 The Park is really busy at weekends so be prepared to queue...much quieter during...
