I was really happy to buy my first umbro West Ham jersey. The design is so beautiful that I really loved it. Purchased it for 75£ and after my first time wearing it, the fabric broke in this subtle but noticable way in many places of the jersey. I was just using it for casual wear nothing challenging. When I consulted with my sister who is textile expert, she told me that this is production issue and that the quality test of the prodcuct was not properly made. I shared this at the shop and what they could offer me was a new jersey or returning me the money. But the new jersey might have the same issue as its a production error and I dont live in London to take the risk.
I was disappointed by this inability of providing me a compensation and assuming responsability for their error. So I got my money back. But still very disappointed by this attitude from such a professional club as West Ham United. I had literally to go all the way to the stadium from Brixton just to return the kit which I ve bought couple days ago, informed them about they fabrication error with Umbro. After waiting 4 weeks, no comms, no courier tracking, no dispatch notice, more importantly, no MN-16 merchandise! Had to raise a Paypal claim & subsequently WHU refunded immediately.
