I will never use this company ever again, and the only reason I used it was luggage too heavy to get to the Uber pick up zone. The driver did not take the motorway, which would have been much quicker from Manchester airport to north Manchester. He decided to drive all the way through the city centre, which took 45 minutes rather than 25. He said going to the motorway would cost him so much more petrol and he was not going to pay that out of his pocket. Well, I thought as a paying customer I had the right to get to where I need to be the way I want to! On top of that, his driving was appalling - come on, this is England, there are traffic rules here! He changed lanes in the most random of manners, causing the other drivers to use their horns, and also ran a RED light. When I take an expensive taxi, I want SERVICE, and not an almost guaranteed traffic accident! Will be making an official complaint and will NEVER use Street...
Read moreHad a really disappointing experience on a recent booking. On booking at the office inside the Arrivals area we were told to wait at stand D, with the taxi arriving in '5 mins'. After 5 mins and no taxi, I went to the office for an update, only to find my driver, who said (in a rude tone) that he'd been looking for me for ages.
Our luggage was at stand D, but taxi was at at different stand. The driver refused to drive to the luggage, instead for some unknown reason stopping halfway and forcing us to move the bags.
On arrival at our destination, he drove straight past where we'd asked to stop, forcing us to shout 'stop!'. He then didn't release the boot lock for ages, and also didn't help with our cases.
Very unprofessional service, I'll definitely be sticking to Uber...

He booked us the wrong size taxi as he couldn’t be bothered to check how many cases we had or passengers. We were charged £18 the taxi driver came in saying Walker which is the wrong surname but it was for us. (The guy behind the desk said he just put Walker in the system as he couldn’t understand our surname). Told the guy behind the desk he wouldn’t be able to fit us in his car. He then said we had to pay another £8 for a bigger vehicle despite already waiting 15 minutes with a young toddler at 1am in the morning. This would take a further 20 minutes.
