So me and my Wife were at Terminal 2 to Fly to ✈️ Cape Verde and as we were waiting for our flight we headed to the Apiary for a drink and a bite to eat.
We were warmly greeted by a waitress who showed us to our Table and to order you go to the bar or scan the QR code and enter your table number, To drink i ordered a Pint Of IPA and my Wife opted for a glass of Wine and for food I ordered 2 toasted Crumpets with a Honey butter(£6) and my Wife ordered Smoked Salmon, Scrambled Egg on Toasted Sourdough bread.
Food was well presented and I really enjoyed my Crumpets and my Enjoyed her Salmon but her Scrambled Eggs were runny and she prefers her eggs well done, Drinks were well presented and tasted great and the Service was fantastic, Restaurants was spotlessly clean and polite and friendly staff.
Great selection of food across the board something for everyone lovely setting overlooking the runway, You can pay cash or card.

Read moreWe've just been for a pre-flight drink and bite to eat. It's a hellishly busy Saturday in Manchester airport, plenty of rude/entitled customers unfortunately but credit to Jake, they showed us to our table and was friendly, upbeat, accommodating and professional when asked if it was possible to store my wheelchair (needed to get through the airport).
One negative but hopefully constructive note to make would be that there wasn't a designated area to store said wheelchair and not enough space to pull it up to the vast majority of he tables. I've never needed one before and we have been to Apiary prior to our last few holidays, the chair has been incredibly neccessary this time around and it's a sad to see how plausible it was that we may not have been able to sit in the venue, should one other person in need of a wheelchair had already been...
Read moreOrdered a cocktail, stood there for ten minutes then noticed the man who served me was cleaning tables. I asked him where my drink was and he said someone else was making it. I told him that I would not have time to drink it if it was much longer so he said he would check. waited another five minutes and finally another woman came and asked if I was the one who ordered a cocktail and that it would be another five minutes. 20 minutes wait after you had already ordered for just one drink is a joke especially in a time important place such as an airport. Fortunately I had decided to pay cash so I didn’t have to mess about getting a refund. Considering they had a sign saying 11 minute wait for food 20 minutes wait for one drink...
