There has been a boom in this sort of activity of late with numerous sites offering a similar experience throughout the uk. Sadly ours wasn't as expected..... We have regularly visited a site in the south and after seeing this one whilst driving past one day wanted to give it a try. The location is beautiful offering not only this experience but also dining and high ropes extremely close by as well as plenty of geese, ducks and swans. A short safety briefing and you're ready to tackle the course made up of three different areas in which you spend just under 20mins on each. The first area a light grey with a few obstacles and slide, the second an orange with a few slides and jumps and the third a blue which in honestly didn't really have many obstacles at all and was effectively a floating running track with a few bridges and tiny non bouncy trampolines! We came off early however extremely smelly and feeling very dirty due to the amount of duck and bird feaces caked over all three of the courses and obstacles. This is obviously originally a lake populated with swans and ducks as previously mentioned and thus the expectation of some droppings here and there goes without saying. However the obstacles were literally COVERED with poo, old poo, dried poo, new poo you name it, it's there, just waiting for you. It's apparent that instead of maintaining the equipment with a quick wipe over regularly every morning prior to use. It's merely just opened with the hope that the participants will do so with their hands, feet, hair etc. it was filthy and very unhygienic! To top it off alot of the life vests had clearly seen better days with one of the obstacles ( hanging ladder) effectively useless as it was missing numerous handles and bars! Our concerns were reported with a well rehearsed response from the manager on duty of "thanks for your feedback, we'll certainly look into it" with no apologies or like for our negative experience. Great concept but very poorly maintained, avoid sadly guys and find a...
Read moreTo start of with, we had booked the session for July and had to cancel it due to medical reasons. We had issues with our email not being replied to and so not being able to get a partial refund on the ticket. However when reaching out to them about this, they were phenomenal! Cannot fault their customer service! They really looked into it and gave us another opportynity to re-book. We went there yesterday and got to say... It's an amazing experience! Lots of fun and plenty of laughter! We had a great time but we were exhausted after it! We did sleep well though 😆 The staff on the day were extremely helpful and friendly. The process was smoother than I thought. The only suggestion I would give is that the padlocks are given away with a deposit of £5.00 (which can be then refunded later on the way out) rather than the only option being to purchase one... We did buy it, it's quite a good one, but we didn't need one! Anyway, I suppose you can bring one of your own if you have it... We also bought the socks and they were good for the price. Happy with that. On another note, we were a bit disappointed that there was lots of dry bird poo on some areas. But more importantly, underneath the 'arch climbing frame type of thing (the one floating seperatly on the second section of inflatables - the white ones), it was absolutely disgusting with moss and really horrible green water with alghee, with a. Weird foam and other bits which smelled terribly. The same could also be seen under one of the big slides. They should definitly look into scooping/ cleaning that out as I was terrified in the idea of falling into that! A part from these details, we had an awesome time and would definitly...
Read moreIf the reception lady were nice, I would give 5 stars.
I brought my kids for swimming. Aqua Parca's entrance is on the left, We went to the right side but it was for other activities. When we came to the Aqua Park reception, we were asked to fill out the form on the tablet, then the lady told me to come to her. It took me a while to fill out the form for myself and my two children. Then I came to the Reception and informed her about it. But she ignored us and continued to call new customers. I told her that we have already let two customers go and more than ten were in the queue. Unfortunately, she ignored us. This was frustrating and she complained about us to other customers. Not professional at all. She told me to see her after filling out the form. It was very disappointing, if my kids were not so willing to swim, I would have just left the place!
