A wonderful and special place to visit. Look for the brown sign and there the entrance is....nestled amongst a housing estate and only discovered when the builders were about to put up some garages. The entrance fee was minimal and in we went. The Roman ruins of this villa are amazing. The various hot and cold bathing rooms, the remains of a tesilated tiled floor and the size of the property are a wonderful to behold. Part of this massive property is hidden below some of the adjacent properties on the housing estate. The garden had herbs and flowers and fruit trees still!! Including a grape vine. This villa was only occupied for a short while in the later part of the 2nd Century. Please put this on your historical places to visit.... definitely worth it...thanks...

And toilet facilities, though I have not been in to check the cleanliness. Has a small gift shop on the way out. No cafè. Realistically maximum time needed to spend in there is about 30-45 minutes, that is if you have no children taking part in the...

Free parking ok in neighbouring residential roads but we had to drive around a bit to...
