Towan Beach — Attraction in Newquay

The beach was a nice place to be as you may be able to infer from the images below the sand itself is nice and soft making walking around barefoot a joy (except for it slightly sticking to your feet). With the large cliffs, rock pools, and grand space, you would be lucky to be able to walk across the plains of sand. We can also see that a large number of people visit this place even when it is bad weather which should give you a good idea of how nice it is here. I also posted an image of a cave that was located alongside this beach with a large opening nice coarse sand and a echo it's a great stop for any wanderers to see. There was also a group of surfers heading to the sea, so this is your sign to get those surfboards out of storage and stop by.

And finally when the weather is looking bad remember a coat, if it's looking good bring sunscreen and most importantly...

Absolutely stunning!! Coves, sunbathers, crabs, surfing, gorgeous views, everything you would like and so much more! We parked at trefnull (probably spelt that wrong) car park and walked about 15minutes to the front. There is surfing hire shops nearby, coffee shops and very helpful locals around the help you around as you need. We took many pictures and we were in love with the coves that you could wander into and have a nosy around. Yes they were not massive like some you can find elsewhere but they were more than enough for most people who visit them. Very well life guarded and a lovely walk for couples families or dog walkers. Towan Beach is a nice little beach with golden sand and crystal-clear water, which makes it perfect for everything from sunbathing and swimming to water sports like paddleboarding and diving. The views are stunning - you can easily spend hours just relaxing and watching the waves roll in.

It’s one of the main beaches in Newquay, so it can get quite busy, especially on sunny days and during peak season. There’s plenty to do nearby, with cafes, restaurants, and shops just a short walk away, so it's easy to grab a bite or enjoy a drink with a view.
