Was with my niece in Norwich on a lovely, sunny afternoon. Saw this on Google and thought we'd go here for a spot of lunch by now around 4 pm. How wrong were we ! First, the male staff member that was behind the bar seemed to ignore me when serving and served another customer 1st .( There were only 3 of us at the bar ) he did ask the other 2, who was 1st, and despite me trying to say I was 1st, he ignored me . When he did, eventually realise ,the lady he served apologised to me ,he did not and gave me a gormless look. I ordered our drinks and asked for a menu .As he bent down behind the bar, he replied , I had sort of peer over, as i hadn't heard a word he'd said. He then informed me that they didn't do "walk-ins " as it was too busy for the chef . Sorry what !! There was plenty of seating inside and out . Nowhere did it say on anything I read about the place, did it say please pre book . I've been to much busier places and never have I had to pre book .
