It's a mall in Cowley. It is what it is. It has a Cex now, which is nice. Wilkinson are still there AFAIK. I don't really get out there much, except for CEX. Probably I'd go there more if I lived in Oxford itself, which is probably unlikely. I miss the south coast, and Templars Square makes me miss the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe. A LOT. And the Royal Arcade. They're my two favourite malls thus far in my tiny life. Clean, and adjoining as they do- almost holding hands, in fact. Cowley seems a mess and a noise compared to Boscombe. I guess it IS. Possibly after the Westgate revamp, Templars Square might get some attention to soruce it up a bit. It is looking pretty tired in places. Almost as tired as I feel being away from the sea and my friends. Or feeling like smiling. A grubby mall in Cowley. Could be nicer, I only went there rarely because GAME and CEX are there. But now... there doesn't seem...
Read moreGreat shopping hub for most things. You can find Poundland, Iceland, several charity shops, Dominoes Pizza, African hair and cosmetics shops and so much more! As an international student this became my go-to for affordable shopping with the variety I needed. Missing the taste of home? Go to templars. They’ve got a good selection of ethnic shops and butcheries to shop in. There’s even some cute market stalls in the middle of the mall if you walk in deep enough. There’s also another shopping area right across the street with a Lidl, KFC, a bunch of shoes and clothing shops, and another Poundland. Even spotted a mini pizza place the other day.
Bus routes are also very accommodating especially if you live in Headington. Catch the 100 or the U5 and it’ll take you straight over and back to gipsy lane.

I remember parking my car in B&Q car park which was just across road but this time, I parked in the nearby car park which I only found by chance. It was in close proximity to the shops, plenty of parking space, well lit and very reasonably priced. The Templars Square itself was clean and bright and has the essential shops which was very convenient. I went there about 2pm and it was not very crowded which I quite liked and managed to buy whatever I needed in a relatively short time without traipsing too much. All in all, I found it very convenient and a pleasant experience. Even managed to get a coffee at Boswells and relax there for a few minutes...
