Coley Recreation Ground — Attraction in Reading

Pretty good field for football and cricket. Has an outdoor gym too but small children can get hurt on this so be careful. Also a basic tennis court. Good facilities. Easy parking on the grass verge around the edge. Can get busy on the roads around the edge - be patient! Nicely shelter and benches. Usually has organised sport on at the weekends. Overall...

It's got all the bits and bobs that make it an 'above average' park; Wide open spaces; Kids Frsmes an play areas; Football pitches. (With goalposts!); The obligatory mix of saplings and mature trees. But this is still Coley, so the junkies, discarded used sharps, p!$$heads with their bottles of £1 cider and even working girls are All 'de rigueur'...

Good enclosed play area for kids along with a tennis court and basketball court..as well as big football ground..
