Central Kebabs — Local services in Reading

If I must be honest I do t know where to start....I've ordered chicken tikka on rice and truly it was a worst experience in my life and I'm eating a lot of takeaways due to character of work. First was the rice... Was taken out of fridge in the ready meal box with label on the top which indicates it was bought somewhere not boiled at place, been putted in microwave for few minutes, meanwhile there was chicken tikka taken out of the same fridge in white foil shopping bag already cooked/grilled/fried no idea how it was prepared but defo not fresh...it was putted in the grill for minute and then chopped into smaller pieces and chucked into deep fryer(!!!) Have you ever seen chicken tikka from fryer?! Cherry on the top was a salad...all vegies has been chucked into small sandwich bag and tied up...I've sad to the guy I'll be eating it on the street but that doesn't mean anything cause that's how they serving their food apparently...rice has been blant and too hot to eat...chicken so salty that even the blant rice couldn't help to reduce saltines in my mouth and salad...sorry but it was to hard to eat it that way...would put 0 stars but Google doesn't have that option... just wondering how it's possible that place...

Bossman was willing to take a photo of my friend behind the counter when she asked, that was nice of him. I said to him just for that we owe it to him that we come back the next day for dinner (this happened on Friday night). In the end only I returned but I digress.

The food isn’t horrible but it’s not exactly a sensational culinary experience either. There’s no flavour, the cheese isn’t melted, it’s a shame there was no rotating grill for the doner meat to be freshly shaved from. It could be juicier, the cheese on my cheesy chips should have been melted, which it wasn’t. But the chips were hot and crispy cooked to order, so I’ll at least grant that. Too bad even that couldn’t help melt the cheese…

I came back another time and got a mixed doner wrap. There did seem to be a decent amount of meat stuffed inside but unfortunately he skimmed out on garlic sauce so much it’s almost like it wasn’t there at all, yet I did ask for it! It needed the sauce badly. Was it an honest mistake or intentional? I have not a scooby…

The location is good for the local clubs, especially Purple Turtle as well as the Premier Inn hotel down the road

How can I start ? I went here at about 10.15pm and ordered a large doner kebab and the wife ordered large chessy chips omg what a joke. My kebab had hardly any meat and was the coldest kebab ive ever had in my life.it had no salad to make it even colder.now my wife's chips was luke warm and the cheese was not melted and couldn't melt because the chips was so cold. Ive no idea how this place has 4 stars. I chose this place because it had 4 stars 🌟 at the time. Avoid this place...
