We visited Urban Fun Reading for the first time as a family and spent Ā£120 on games. Unfortunately, the visit didnāt start well. When we topped up our card, a young male staff member was very unhelpful more interested in chatting with his colleagues a male and female than assisting us. There was no explanation, no guidance, and no effort made to help.
What changed everything was Charis. She was the only staff member actively supporting customers. She approached us, asked if we had received the complimentary doughnut which we hadnāt and kindly offered a free game instead. That kind of initiative and customer care made a huge difference.
As a business owner myself, I recognise the value of staff like Charis sheās professional, proactive, and understands what true customer service looks like. She turned a poor start into a great experience, and this 5 star review is entirely thanks to her.

Ā Ā Ā Read morePlace: Great arena and arcade to have a good part as we did. A good space for the party and plenty of room to accommodate a kids and family (we had 33 of them). Food : good food and they were able to add in a few more people on a last min request -kudos to the kitchen team. Arcade : plenty options to run around with kids and many for the adults too. It is place packed with all different kids of games, something for every age group. Every invitee was able to enjoy something of their liking. Staff : The whole staff is super nice and polite. Everything was nice and neat and made sure all the tables were catered and topped-up. Listened carefully(as there were 30+ kids running around) and acted swiftly. A big Shout out to the Manager "Ross" a super nice gay and went over and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Manged the party rush and our 11th hour request with ease. A gem of a person. Great job Ross.
Great Value for money and time. A definitely recommended place to be with...

We went back to the counter told the lady about this. She said the machine is faulty and only accept "unlimited card". That she can't do anything but we have to wait for someone to fix the machines. What? Seriously. In disbelieved we approach another staff which then checked our card, found our our card was faulty, changed a card for us and it worked wonderfully. It's not a great experience for us as my boys were very patient waiting for their turns and found out that they can't play when the card is not working, made us went back and forth...
