Oriental Delights — Attraction in Sandwell

We made an order this evening to collect, we got home and our meal was wrong and the food was luke warm. We called to tell them the order was wrong to ask if one order could be replaced, they attempted to argue on the phone so we asked to come down for a refund, she said “okay”. When we got there she said we do not do refunds, so why she’s agreed on the phone to waste our time made no sense. She continued to tell us we were wrong and commented on how my partners fathers English isn’t good enough.(he was born and raised in the uk and we had not ordered with his family so this comment was irrelevant) we had paid £30 for this order and after 30 minutes of debating and her being rude to us she said she would do us some rice, at this point the food was cold! She said that was our issue and not hers! She continued to bring up how delivery takes 40 minutes so food wouldn’t be hot, we had not had delivery we ordered and collected ourselves. In the end we got £25 pound but this isn’t the point. The food we collected wasn’t hot, the staff were rude and we will not be ordering from here again! I suggest other people search for another Chinese to as my partners parents have been going there for years and this isn’t the first time they’ve got food wrong. Usually we would make do but half of a meal...

So I placed an order on Friday the 15th of October 2021 at bang on 5pm. I ordered 1 chicken curry 1 egg fried rice and chips. I spoke with the restaurant shortly after receiving my order as they had sent beef curry not chicken. They agreed to resend the order out at which point I clarified with the restaurant that the chips and rice were also being sent out as by the time my curry was getting there these items were now cold. 1 hr later I received my curry no rice no chips. I called the restaurant again to be put on hold 3 times and then to be shouted at and met by a very rude and aggressive women on the phone. Complaining that she now had to pay her driver 3 times to come out to us. This then resulting in her saying goodbye and hanging up on me. I called back to be told the driver was on the way and that they were far too busy to deal with me now. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Will not be eating...

Marking this place down is a disappointment because the taste of the food was good but a couple details completely ignored. I ordered chicken balls, chips , roast pork curry and boiled rice. It may seem like I'm making a big deal out of it but i went in the restaurant to order so what i asked for would have been fresh in the memory. I asked them not to put peas in the curry and to swap the sweet and sour sauce with the chicken balls with BBQ both points she politely acknowledged and agreed with. When i got home in the taxi and opened my food loads of peas were in the curry and the sweet and sour sauce had not been swapped for BBQ. This is a shame because i would have marked higher. I hate peas so the 5 minutes i spent spooning out the peas was a tad...
