Dudhope park is a fine quiet place to walk about during the day. I do not go there on my own, we play tennis at the provided court and next time also gonna bring a basketball to try the multi use game area. It has a skatepark & kids play area . No food shops around yet only about 5 minutes drive to city centre. Parking lot is not too distant.

Pleasant parkland within a few minutes walk of the city centre. Unusual in layout in that it's almost entirely on a slope though it does have a tennis court and a skatepark on the level, the latter being less attractive and invariably covered in graffiti. Lots of free parking areas all round with a pay to park area centrally at the Castle.

I had a lovely wee dander around with my wee dog, Buddy. Stopped at the skateboarders who were having a great time. It was great to see both kids and young adults enjoying the weather and socialising with friends F2F. And better still it's FREE! Let's encourage more of this DCC.

Visiting Dudhope Park is like taking a personal tour of Dundee City Council's parlous financial situation. Fundamentally it's a lovely city centre park but grounds maintenance has been skimped, and it shows. Initially I thought the castle building must be unused, the garden in front of it was so unkempt. Couldn't find any toilets. not even an ice cream van on a Sunday...

A beautiful small park. I initially thought the castle is available for ceremonial things and it's protected as a national heritage but I was wrong. Many offices function inside the castle and it's not open for ceremonial things. Don't expect a museum kinda place. The park has a basketball court, tennis courts and small children's play area and it's good...

Brilliant children's playground. Tennis courts, football pitches, large open area for field sports. Gardens beautifully kept with interesting and unusual plants, a must visit for gardeners and horticultureists. Beautiful avenue of trees and walkways. Public toilets and changing area for sports, indoor facilities for all manner of occasions. Ideal for...
