Dudhope Park — Attraction in Scotland

Visiting Dudhope Park is like taking a personal tour of Dundee City Council's parlous financial situation. Fundamentally it's a lovely city centre park but grounds maintenance has been skimped, and it shows. Initially I thought the castle building must be unused, the garden in front of it was so unkempt. Couldn't find any toilets. not even an ice cream van on a Sunday...

A beautiful small park. I initially thought the castle is available for ceremonial things and it's protected as a national heritage but I was wrong.
