Rituals — Local services in Great Britain

Walked passed rituals today and got immediately pulled in by the lovely lovely smells! I was greeted by two friendly members of staff who were delightful and up for a chat but not at all pushy. I was given some cool information about the perfumes and how to use the testers, and then I was approached by the lovely Harento, who was so sweet and eager for a chat! Harento and I had a lengthy and informative chat about the products, and I was amazed by the amount of product knowledge they had only a DAY after the official opening! They really knew their stuff and felt comfortable walking me around the front of the shop to give me some tailored recommendations. I ended up buying some goodies and got a free gift by signing up for a membership

Popped into the Rituals store in Dundee Overgate today and had such a strange experience. One of the male staff greeted me at first, (he’s new I think) but then wouldn’t stop hovering, nitpicking, and correcting me while I tried the products. Instead of being welcoming, he came across pushy, weirdly intense, and honestly mansplaining when I never asked for any help he took it upon himself to intervene with nothing. Made me feel like a kid at school. Usually, the staff are lovely and even offer a drink, but not today. Completely ruined the vibe and put me off...

Absolutely amazing service today from a nice lass who offered us a free tea sample 😀. I brought up that I've been hunting since 2022 for a aftershave for so long. She was really lovely and checked the warehouse and let me know they could order it for me. Criminal that its been discontinued but so nice that she went and looked for me. Didn't catch her name but definitely deserves all the praise from managers for being so awesome.
