2023 saw the redesign and refurbishment of the playground and improvements deliver across the wider site. Playground improvements consisted of new equipment offering unique and varied play opportunities. Accessibility was improved across the space through hard landscaping to deliver pathways and new play attractive play surfacing, this delivered a play space that is now usable in all weathers. Within the redesign wildflower and tree planting was incorporated into the area helping to support biodiversity and connect users to the surrounding nature. There is loads of stuff here, playground, five a side and regular footy pitch, tennis, basketball, bowlers, and just plenty of space if you want a walk with the dog etc. is mostly clean and tidy.
