Jumaira Spice — Restaurant in Sheffield

Hi went there for a birthday meal 3 people to find this place very cramped busy at weekends, with no customer care or anything waiters running around like headless chickens won’t even look at you if you need anything! Food 🥘 a bit of rip off as you will see the in my pictures the jumairia starter plater was a complete joke for £8,95 5 pcs of starters ! And the size of it 😊 completely a joke food was average nothing special I would say . The most annoying thing was went to bar to pay bill being a lass she was just about to take money and the owners son came and snatched the bill of her and said I will do this no hello no hi and why he need to do my bill very very rude person or he’s on ( something) was in a angry mood seemed in bad mood all time ! So after asked for a receipt he said no I need the bill no copy etc very rude arrogant person wears a black jumper I’m sure he’s the owners son . I’ll agree with comments below from the couple when they were told to leave the restaurant 💯 was very rude no manners or anything won’t do it again try someone else don’t know what the hype is all about small portions and very expensive. And salad is all red onion as the last comment has described please look at the mixed plater what a joke for £9

Blaming Groupon for Missing Exclusions, so no visit allowed when wanted - I bought a Groupon for 4 and as all wary people of these sorts of things I expressly checked the exclusions as I wanted to use it for this Sunday the 21st of June. The only stipulation of the Groupon was that it could not be used on Bank Holidays, so I bought the voucher. I rang on Saturday the 20th to book the table for the Sunday and was told as Sunday happens to be Father's day that I could not use the Groupon on a special occassion. I queried this as the exclusion was only Bank Holidays and explained I had expressly bought it for this weekend as we have family visiting, the chap on the phone checked with his manager and said again we couldn't use it as it was Father's Day and even went so far as to blame Groupon for not putting the proper exclusions and that I need to contact Groupon and not Jumeirah Spice for this. I'm now left with a voucher I cannot use, out of pocket and nowhere to take my family! Disgraceful customer service! i would have understood if the restaurant had been fully booked up, but upto the point of saying I had a voucher we had a table booked for 4.30pm.So to pay would be fine...

First and last time I will ever order from this restaurant. Original order said 45 minutes wait got to an hour and they changed the time to an additional hour and 20 minutes. I thought they may be busy so gave them an hour and half before trying to ring as I wasn't prepared to wait over 2 hours. Couldn't get through as they'd disconnected their phone. As I couldn't get through so had no choice but to drive to the restaurant myself to see what the issue was. On arrival there was a couple of girls complaining with the same issue as me. The manager that was in had an absolutely disgusting attitude, no apology didn't care that the food was late and openly admitted that he had turned off the phones to stop people ringing. Wouldn't even give me any compensation at first as I demanded at least my delivery charge back he reluctantly did in the end but would even stretch to a bottle of pop in the way of an apology for me having to drive down. While I was having to do all this messing around the food was delivered and it wasn't worth the wait or price. Luke warm, bland, poorly cooked food at a premium price, not even take away quality let alone restaurant. Overall...
