Morrisons need to rethink their strategy, for years they have given excellent quality food at a fair price with very good service. I visited for the first time in a long while, only to find automated ordering point which took ages, when the food was brought out it did not match the description on the menu and several items were nor available which was little consolation. The staff were lovely but staffing was less than adequate for the size of the cafe, I don't know if they are running a cost cutting exercise but it was clearly understaffed. Read moreThe cafe at Morrisons Ecclesfield has really gone down hill. Arrived on Father’s Day Sunday, which you’d think is prime time for breakfast.
It’s evidently understaff, there were lots of tables with food left on, tables not cleaned
The waiting time was 40mins+ for breakfast. It used to be maximum 20mins.
Staff unwelcoming, they come out with sauces but if you ask for more or pepper (which isn’t on the table but salt is) you then have to get this yourself, which you are abruptly told.

Ordered myself a big breakfast and my mum a bacon sandwich, everyone was lovely and I have no problem with the service because me and my mum knew a few people who worked there.
