We was taking our grandson for a birthday tea onTuesday's had a Groupon voucher for 2 starters and mains the value for it was up to £34 we asked the staff if the small mixed grill was on the voucher deal she said yes. My husband and grandson wanted the small mixed grill and I wanted chicken so my husband went to order 2 x starters and 3 x main came back he was surprised that the lady on the till only put in £18 for the Groupon voucher we were charged for the two starters when we went back she said we couldn't have mixed grill me and my husband changed to another mains at this point what was a birthday treat was becoming a disaster. we asked to be refunded the starters well at this point I was not happy.. the were rude left us nearly a hour before the we got any food.the starters came in 2 tiny dipping bowls 3 chicken nuggets and 5 hallumi skinny chips for over £4 for each its was disgraceful and daylight robbery i ask for some plates and the waitress said you don't have them for starters in nasty way as if I was stupid .mains came, the chips were cold and the vegetables must have be someones left overs we eat what was edable... we got a refund for the starters and a free glass but it spoilt our night

my son had the same Groupon voucher and went with his partner to the harvester in Rotherham they had two lovely starters and two steaks and only had to pay for...

Booked a big table for all the family 1 month in advance, turned up they hadn't booked anything in so just lied to me over the phone then stuck my family on 2 separate tables in the kids area full of noisy kids running around ABSOLUTELY DISCUSTING SERVICE after that went to order food but didn't have in the ingredients to make what I ordered so had to pick something I didn't want I then ordered a cocktail and the idiot make it completely wrong and put it in a half filled pint glass 😤 I was then told we would be waiting 30- 40 mins for our food I WAITED AN HOUR AND 15 MINUTES and finally when my food came my medium rare steak was cooked to death burned most of the way through massively over cooked and to top it off every bit of my food had been burned to charcoal on my plate and im not blowing this out of proportion ALL OV MY FOOD WAS BURNED TO CHARCOAL AND STUCK TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PLATE. Worst service I have ever had worst experience I have ever had WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD never going there ever again ( why refurb a pub and and change the menu and make it ten times worse than it was before worst place I...

A joke ! Spoilt my day with my family ! We sat outside with drinks. Ordered a kids meal for my granddaughter which was brought outside into the beer garden. We decided that we would also eat whilst here so I went to order food at the bar to be told that we could not order off the main menu if we were sitting outside..how ridiculous is that ?..yet we could order half chicken and chips outside but could not order baguettes and fries or a flamin burger ! I have never heard anything so stupid in my life I will not be visiting again unless stupid rules are changed ..I visit other venues such as the droppingwell, meadow farm and many others and never have I come across silly rules that I am only allowed to eat specific food in beer garden ...you have lost £25 and my custom on this occasion ! I wonder just how much more has been lost from other customers experiencing the same...
