Went with my autistic child for a afternoon of fun! They had a lot of things to do, not just a indoor soft play area but also some little shops for role play.
The role play part has a walk on piano for kids to learn songs, a little cafe, a sensory area with tunnel light and building magnetic blocks and a pet shop. We enjoyed playing in this part of the place due to it being more quiet and subtle.
The main play area was averagely big with multiple things to do, 2 big slides, one for multiple kids at once and a spiral slide. This side was really good with fun things for kids. However on the other hand it was a bit overcrowded and a lot of kids was pushing in when it came to climbing up the play area and my daughter got pushed around a lot so that's why I'm only scoring 4 stars.
Just a suggestion... it might be worthwhile having 1 staff member overseeing the play area and safety because it was mayhem inside and a lot of children was getting hurt due to everyone not waiting their turn.
Otherwise than that, food was nice and had a few games and rides on the outer edges for the kids, a party bus for birthday parties and an area for babies and toddlers.
Probably best to go on days it isn't as...
Read moreWe visited this soft play centre for the first time today. Firstly we phoned up before going to ask for prices and to see how busy they were, we were told the prices for my two children but we’re not told we had to pay for the adults so when we turned up we soon realised we were mislead and it cost us £10 for our family entry. We should have been told over the phone the correct full prices, not just the price for children. However, the whole visit was amazing. We have been to a lot of different soft plays now in various different areas near us and this was by far the best! It had literally everything! The amount of sensory things and also the bright ray of colours for my 11 month old was absolutely amazing! At most soft plays you get the big climbing bits for the older children and the younger babies just get a small square area, however here there was several different places for my daughter to go. My son cried when it was time to go home because he enjoyed it so much! He has never enjoyed a soft place venue this much. The room and tables are hugely spaced out and we felt very comfortable. We will definitely be...
Read morePlay Valley Darnall Sheffield, is absolutely fantastic! The facilities are great, but what truly sets it apart is the incredible staff. They consistently go above and beyond, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
I work with a boy who has additional needs, and the staff's accommodating nature has been truly remarkable. They are always happy to have him in the play area and have played a significant role in boosting his confidence in particular Nina and Cat.
What impresses me most is their approach to communication. Instead of directing questions to me, they engage directly with him, giving him the opportunity to express himself and develop his social skills. This thoughtful approach has made a noticeable difference in his overall confidence and well-being. He looks forwards to going there and classes Nina and Cat as his friends.
I highly recommend play valley to anyone looking for a fun and inclusive environment for their children. The staff's dedication to providing exceptional care and support is truly...
