I love the atmosphere in Moor Market! Whenever I visit Sheffield I aim to go up to the Market to take in the atmosphere, have lunch from one of several eateries and browse the stalls. I love the variety of fruit and veg but the best stalls, by far, are the meat and fish stalls selling all manner of foodstuffs that I remember from my childhood such as tomato sausages and finnan haddock. Well worth a visit! Edit: visited again today August 2024 and realised that I’d forgotten to mention the great range of cafes serving all manner of food from hot pork sandwiches to fish and chips, thalis, cottage pie and jacket potatoes. Prices are very reasonable and portions are “Yorkshire portions” ie very generous! Edit March 2025: fabulous produce!

It was a pleasant surprise to find numerous boxes of Indomie, reflecting the apparent love for this popular noodle brand in Sheffield – a sentiment shared by many. The market's multicultural charm extended further with the availability of Kopiko, coffee candy, adding an international touch to the experience. The presence of a Chinese food stall and a variety of Asian products showcased the market's commitment to catering to diverse tastes. For those seeking authentic Asian products, Moor Market proves to be a treasure trove. The vibrant mix of goods and flavors adds a unique dimension to the shopping experience, making it a noteworthy destination for those with a penchant for international cuisine and products.

Always good to visit an indoor market that feels authentic and traditional with a wide variety of traders. This is surprising when you realise that the building in which the market sits is a modern structure. Simple things like allowing each stall to sell their wares beneath their own signage that gives each place character and replicates the traditional look of a market. It's great to experience the sights, sounds, smells and lively atmosphere of a busy market that hasn't been sadly lost, ignored or given a sterile/carbon copy "makeover" as in other local places.

So pleasantly surprised by what it had to offer, particularly the food courts, so much choice, so nice! We went to get some Jamaican spices from the Carribean stalls, the staff were friendly, the stall holders really helpful and nice. The parking was easy and accessible and you get a discounted rate if you go to the information stall in the centre of the market. We could have spent much longer here, there are some great stalls. We ate food from Lemongrass( featured in photos) the lunch deal was amazing and tasted so good!
