St Mary's Church — Attraction in South Hams

We visited this church today situated in the centre of totness Town centre. The town itself is lovely very vintage style with plenty of interesting shops and the church is absolutely stunning. There are some lovely statues and architecture designs and there's even a giant touch screen you can look through. The windows here are just beautiful and so well detailed and there are some nice statues some that look like gargoyles dotted around the sides of the church outside, it's definitely...

Church of Saint Mary Totnes, see the deep scratches made in the red stonework just above waist height on the external walls of Church of Saint Mary. These are where arrows were sharpened during target practice in the churchyard. See photos here on Google Places. Walk a little way up the hill from Church of Saint Mary to Totnes Castle gateway to see the same deep scratch marks. Indicates that the building stones for the gateway were robbed from the church...

This is a beautiful constructed Church in the Devon Town of Totnes...The late 15th century Church was built using the deep red Devon sandstone as you will see in my photos making it very unusual....The church tower stands 120ft above the Town...On entering you come across lovely stained glass windows and beautifully constructed architectural interior.. well worth a little look around this...
