Elusion Escape Rooms — Attraction in Southampton

Mitch.. the unsung hero of 2021.. It was July, the weather was scorching, you could compare the heat from the sun to walking around inside one massive oven baking us slowly but surely.

Nevertheless, me and my compadres we set to complete and escape room, “7 Sins”. Approaching the establishment we were all concerned, from the outside it didn’t even look up and thoughts had begun racing. “Are we at the right place? Is this even an escape room?” However with a massive sigh of relief we could see what would turn out to be a good friend in our main man Mitch.

Mitch is a man, a very manly man. So manly you know he could chop wood with just a quick glare. However, once you gaze your eyes upon the man you could see resemblance to a Viking, a beard better than thors, a beard so fine it brought a test to peons good eye. Tattoos galore, it’s like all of the worlds most famous artists had a love making session over Mitch’s body and produced some of the finest art the world has ever seen.

He greets us at the door, sits us down and begins speaking to us getting to know our experiences in previous escape rooms. A voice so smooth it would help any baby within a mile radius sleep with ease, sirens wish they had Mitch’s voice as they would be able to lure in sailors and fishermen with no trouble whatsoever.

Once he explained how our escape room was going to work and we all signed our souls away for the next hour Mitch showed us what to expect next. He grabbed a box, inside this box was various handcuffs, chains, a dominatrix’ dream equipment. He took us downstairs to the beginning of our escape.

Me and my group were concerned but excited, we allowed him to handcuff us and blind us one by one. Mitch explained he will guide us in one by one so that we are all in place and so we can begin the countdown to escape with our lives.

We were all frilled with the events leading up to our escape room so much so that words such as “daddy” and “sir” were thrown around. The door slams shut! We’re advised we can remove our blindfolds and so the escape room began.

Overall a really great experience, well designed escape rooms and such incredible hosts. I promised this man a review of his dreams and I can only hope this does Mr Grey (Mitch) proud!

10/10 would do another escape room with...

Provisionally booked an esacpe room for the following day for my birthday, we were assured we could pay the following day (as we were waiting on 2 more confirmations for our party of 6) and that our slot would be held........ The following day we arrived 15 minutes before the esacpe room was due to start, only to be told by 'Gem' on reception that he tried to email us last night saying he couldn't provisionally book slots and our space had now been taken, the party organiser hadn't received an email or a phone call to state this was the case, so we were left stood there pointlessly, our evening completely ruined, and highly disappointed! We were offered to then contact the manager directly to rebook with 50% off our booking fab okay taken the brunt off slightly.......... however that shows very little remorse when there is currently an offer running throughout January which is 50% off!!

We had an incredible experience in the Seven Sins Escape Room! We went for my birthday, myself being a horror fan whilst my girlfriend has never watched a horror in her life. This really spiced up the experience as we were super pleasantly surprised about the tension and perfect level of horror created throughout this experience. Perfectly timed jump scares and creepy noises to put you on edge while you solve some creative puzzles. An escape room full of surprises and spooks. I would really recommend this as a couple experience!

Also a massive shoutout to our host Mitch who lead our experience and set the vibe and assisted us when things got tough and made us feel welcomed and engaged in the world building leading up to entering the escape room. We can’t thank him enough for a memorable...
