East Park, also known as Andrews Park, is one of Southampton's most beloved green spaces, offering a tranquil retreat in the heart of the city. Established in the 19th century, the park is part of the "Central Parks" network, a series of interconnected parks that provide a lush, green corridor through Southampton's urban landscape. East Park is characterized by its well-maintained lawns, vibrant flowerbeds, and mature trees, creating a picturesque setting for relaxation and recreation. The park is home to several notable features, including the Titanic Engineers' Memorial, which honours the engineers who lost their lives on the RMS Titanic. With its blend of historical significance and natural beauty, East Park serves as both a community gathering place and a reminder of Southampton's rich...

Along with the two neighbouring parks (that I personally don't really see why need to be separated parks as there is no boundary...) This park is a wonderful place. From the middle of the park, it's possible to sit in such a quiet area that you can forget you're in a city and simply relax. There are some interesting features, the park is generally very clean and well kept and there are areas for children, outdoor activities, events, nearby cafes with outside seating... Everything about this place is what a city centre...

This extensive city centre park is full of wonderful floral exhibits, fountains, statues and war memorials. When we were visiting in July, it was also full of brightly coloured and patterned zebras too - the local children were all enjoying themselves finding as many as possible throughout the city, a bit like Pokemon Go but with actual, not virtual monsters. There are lots of quiet areas, grassy lawns and benches to rest. It's a lovely peaceful way to get from the north of the city down towards...

Coming from a place where we are lucky to enjoy the sun most of the year, it is easy to understand how much I like sunny days. If we add to that the feeling that I get walking among trees and gardens after the rain, the mix is a wonderful experience. And that is what I was able to experience in this beautiful park in Southampton. The East Park is the perfect place to exercise, read, meditate or spend a pleasant time with friends or family in the open air, just a few minutes from the sea and the city center.

Beautiful park in the cultural area of Southampton and next to the hotel we were staying Leonardo Hotel. It was also behind the shopping main street and next to Primark and Sports Direct. The park itself has beautiful mature trees and plants and the green areas are well managed the only shame is the amount of litter everywhere despite there being rubbish bins everywhere. It also has coffee shops and restaurants adjacent to the park. Definitely worth a visit and appears to be a place for locals to enjoy.
