From the middle of the park, it's possible to sit in such a quiet area that you can forget you're in a city and simply relax. There are some interesting features, the park is generally very clean and well kept and there are areas for children, outdoor activities, events, nearby cafes with outside seating... Everything about this place is what a city centre...
Read moreThis extensive city centre park is full of wonderful floral exhibits, fountains, statues and war memorials. When we were visiting in July, it was also full of brightly coloured and patterned zebras too - the local children were all enjoying themselves finding as many as possible throughout the city, a bit like Pokemon Go but with actual, not virtual monsters.There are lots of quiet areas, grassy lawns and benches to rest.
