Coffee great..came out of machine. (Reg size) Selection of baguettes was terrible...no brie or anything with much salad in. Had an egg & supposed to be guacamole...no taste at all plus shorter than other baguettes horrid aftertaste of very cheap mayo in a couple of small dollops. Hubby had cheese & tomato...he said same yuk aftertaste of cheap mayo & a couple of thin slices of tomato & the smallest & thinnest bits of cheese in places. Nearly £18. I took up cheese & tom baguette to counter & asked if they had a change of owner...No I was told...showed baguette & they said we are instructed to make filling much smaller etc Eventually I said well to be honest I wouldn't give this sub standard food to a dog (I was polite) & the staff member agreed & said shall I throw it...I said yes please & she said I will tell them! I started to warn others in the queue...coffee...

Served by Meesh today in the 25 minutes waiting time I had between train journeys. I saw Meesh expertly get through the long queue of people ahead of me promptly, but whilst also giving each customer an individual, caring interaction. I didn't see any other staff but knew they were there as Meesh was relaying back details on the stock out front, such as what had run out and how little was left of another product, so it's clear the whole team there are good at what they do. Meesh kindly refilled my water bottle for me as well as making a lush flat white and prepping my baguette. Well done Upper Crust...

I was shocked to see only one male staff member trying to serve a growing line of people, I waited 8-10mins to be served, whilst two female staff members appearing but then disappearing out the back, not helping in anyway, with seconds before my train departure, I was told by staff he had called for help. But the wait was not the end, the latte was! the mike had gone off!! Very very disappointed in Upper Crust which I had used for years on my travels. Time...
