Would not return -so disappointed -thought the small menu would mean good authentic Italian experience - our greeting was - ( at 4.30pm ) We need your table back at 6pm How to make you feel welcolme ??? - to then see others being served before us - who came in afterwards - Had to keep coat on as was cold We had to leave table to ask for drinks - no water offered or given - service none existent We were only remembered when they wanted the table back - but we hadn’t seen a waitress to be able to finish our meal - even though we kept trying to get their attention as we were aware of the time we had - wow wow wow - ( we were actually only offered drinks when we asked for the rest of our meal / when we were told our table was now needed ) wow wow wow 😞😞 food was ok ,pizza and pasta -nice tiramisu was not nice - it was sinthetic cream - was not asked how it was - would have given 1 star expect for the pizza and pasta. Being ok - You don’t eat out and pay all that money to be made to feel unwelcome - be charged for service that you don’t get - and told to leave as the tables needed when you’ve been sat waiting and waiting and had to go and ask for drinks - if the table is needed that badly you’d think they’d try actually serving people within the timescale given -not ignore them - and then say time up - again...

Went today before the show. Asked poliely if they had a table. Owner very harried and said we could have the table outside the toilet. He was not very charming or welcoming. I appreciate it was busy and we had not booked , however the feeling of " I've done you a favour" prevailed throughout the visit. Any questions asked, as not sure if what was what, as not been before, was met with exasperation and not a lot of charm. Three other ladies walked in who had not booked and were shown to a better table and had the system explained to them. All we got was how busy he was. So Saturday, big show, get more staff. Very disappointed. Food good, but spaced out over time, some things got cold before others arrived.

Disabled toilet did not have any soap, or even a soap dispenser. Restaurant seemed to assume all disabled people use wheelchairs . Mirror at a height only for wheelchair users.

Basically felt like we were a nuisance , not a welcoming experience at all.

Owner should also cut back on how much after shave he uses. My food tasted of it it was that...

The 2 pizzas and 1 of the pasta dishes were very good, but that's where the positives end. The second pasta dish was just about OK but devoid of sauce and mushrooms. The service is appalling!! We waited around 45 minutes from ordering to receive our food without any warning that there would be a delay. There was no follow up at any stage after delivery of food, to offer parmesan cheese, or check that our meal was okay. 15 minutes after finishing, we were still sitting looking at our empty plates, and still no sign of service. We would have ordered desserts and coffee but were losing the will to live. 3 people on the table to one side of us all send their food back, and the table to the other side we advised of several items that weren't available from the menu, including lasagne and bolognaise. The greatest insult was to ask us on the way out if everything was okay and charge us 10% service charge!! I would be grateful for any feedback but if this counts as another part of the service I won't be...
