St Ives is home to some of the most beautiful beaches. The walk to St Nicholas Chapel from Porthmeor Beach takes just 5-10 minutes, while Porthminster Beach kicks off a stunning stretch of golden sands that extends all the way to Godrevy Lighthouse. The views are absolutely breathtaking, especially from the chapel. So next time you're in Cornwall, be sure to visit this amazing spot!

It’s perched on top of a hill overlooking the town and the ocean, the chapel offers stunning panoramic views in every direction. The peaceful atmosphere of the chapel itself adds to the charm, and it feels like a quiet retreat from the more bustling areas below. The walk up is definitely worth it, especially if you enjoy scenic views of both the sea and the surrounding landscape.

Lovely walk to the headland and up to the little church. Great views in all directions including beaches and town. Church itself has an interesting history after being demolished then rebuilt by the army. The building is open limited hours depending on weather.

Very nice place to see the sunset and actually if you are wondering where to stay in Cornwall, stay in St. Ives, it has many more amenities in terms of pubs, restaurants and generally speaking it's a very old cute little seaside town to wander around.

The chapel itself is just a tiny, quant chapel but the grounds around it are lovely and the views of St Ives from here are breathtaking. We went on an overcast drizzly day and it was very worth the walk up. Stunning views and a lovely building
