We visited the place as it was recommended to us and the reviews were good. We had a very frosty reception for a lady with curly long black hair. I've never seen anyone less friendly in my entire life and esp NOT in Cornwall. She prob hates her job. She sent us to our table and handed us over to yet another unfriendly waitress with pigtails and glasses. Our drinks were wrong, our starters took ages to arrive (no apologies and zero care about us in general as we waited for like an hour for food), the starters tasted OK but the mains were a disaster just cremated chicken instead of a chicken snitzel. It was so bad we had trouble cutting it. Again waited for like half an hour for more drinks and by that time we gave up. Zero interest for our pup we had to ask for water as we were there for hours in the sun. I've never seen staff so miserable so bored and so slow ever before. The quality and presentation of food could be better too for the prices they charge. They base all their business on the great views and location but that is no merit of their own. You can find much better places and restaurants in Cornwall/ St Ives where you are treated like a respected paying customer and much better and you feel your custom is being valued. I won't recommend this place at all. We spent a small fortune amd couldn't wait to pay and go!!
