The queue was shocking - we got in the queue just after 10:45am and weren't on the ride until 12:15pm. Yet for the first half an hour of that, the Alton Towers app said it was a 5 minute wait!
Towards the end of our terribly long wait, they stopped the ride to add more cars. What I don't get is why they didn't just start the ride with maximum cars and then reduce the number if the park was quiet - doing it the other way around just made for a ridiculous wait time, which pretty much ruined our morning (but thankfully the afternoon was far far better.)
The ride itself was alright, though very short, and jerky enough to temporarily give you a headache. All in all, I wouldn't bother with...

It's definitely not a ride for me these days, I can't handle the spinning which goes along side the twists and turns of the track at quite a fast speed. Many love it and will queue for asking as it takes to get the chance to ride the spinball whizzer which is pretty much the only ride on the park in its location tucked away behind ceebeeies land or accessed from Towers street along the path that leads you to the Golfing attraction or X-Sector where you can find some of the older and most daring roller coasters at thie...

But I feel Spinball is underrated, while I have rode Dragon's fury at Chessington which is better, I still really enjoy Spinball. The Spinning makes it rather intense and varies the ride experience every time. The theming is there I guess, which would be alright but it's at Alton Towers who are known for good theming, so yeah. Besides from the almost nonexistent theming and the extremely long queues, this ride is good. (I'm honestly not sure if this has a...
