Very disappointed. Had my sons birthday party here today. Was told in the week by Tom that if I brought everything in advance that all decorations would be set up when we arrived. I arrived early to make sure and was fobbed off. It came to five mins before it was due to start and the area I'd been put in still hadn't got any decorations up. I asked if I could just have the decorations so I could do it myself and I was fobbed off again. We were told we'd have a party host but there was no one to be seen.
Eventually a girl called Phoebe (who to get credit was very helpful) explained that we would in fact be in a different room than where we were put at first and that room would be decorated. By this point I had lost faith in their ability to get this right and decorated the room myself. I asked for some sellotape to put banners up and this was only brought up right before the start of the party. Had to improvise
Towards the end of the party I asked phoebe who was in charge and she said Tom. I asked Tom for a partial refund to cover the confusion, stress (had to do this all on my own while trying to welcome parents I'd never met before) and inconvenience of having to decorate the room myself. Tom immediately said that this would be fine and to give him a moment.
Shortly after I was approached by a girl called Liberty who was friendly and helpful but who explained that I should never have been offered a refund as I wouldn't be eligible for one. Liberty then explained how the day should have gone and apologised for being given the wrong info
The biggest shame of this is that everything else was great. Everyone really enjoyed the party and the venue is safe and clean. But the communication was abysmal overall I found the day very stressful. Also very frustrating to be told I would be given a partial refund and then have this offer revoked. Overall would really suggest looking elsewhete especially with so much...
Read moreEdited Review I was disappointed when I Booked Let Loose to take my twin granddaughters as they have visited previously with parents and other family members, I booked for 11.30am so they could have lunch, as been given good reviews, unfortunately for me, I was totallyââripped Offâ by purchasing drinks prior to lunch, the girls choose innocent smoothies, I totally expect to pay a premium, but I certainly donât expect to be ripped off, all other drinks were reasonably priced, but the smoothies were in the fridge on the counter without a price, so ÂŁ8 for 3 drinks was quite a surprise, obviously the staff on the counter donât set prices this is a management decision , there should be a large price sticker on the fridge warning that these drinks are being marketed at ÂŁ3 each, so you can make an informed decision before getting to the till, Iâm not the sort of grandma that would say put the drinks back, after being presented with the cost at the till, highly recommend putting a price sticker on the fridge so that people happy to pay the extortionate price can, but the rest of us can give them a miss !!! I did mention to the staff on the till I felt this was extortionate, but did not escalate this to management, however when the management were made aware, they immediately made steps to address this, they agreed that the pricing needed reviewing, and clearly displayed, and advised me that they would be looking into more streamlining of their pricing of their products , in order that there wouldnât be any future disappointments at the till, as I said previously all other products were reasonably priced, and the venue was clean, well maintained, and lots of fun for the children, all the staff I encountered were exceptionally pleasant and friendly. I was very pleasantly surprised that they dealt so promptly with my complaint in such a...
Read moreVisited here for the first time with our 1 year old as our usual soft play was fully booked and we were really disappointed with what we seen. Inside was very dull and dark as not all of the ceiling lights were switched on. Tables were grubby, some had multiple balls of tissue roll stuffed under the legs to stop them from wobbling. Took our daughter to the under 3 section which was overcrowded with older children barging around who shouldnât have been in there which seems to be the norm looking at other reviews... (yes, parents should take responsibility for this but from a safety perspective staff should be more firm in enforcing this and approaching parents politely asking them to tell their children to move to the older play area). This is what other soft play areas do for the safety of babies and young children. We also noticed the older children that were entering the under 3 baby and toddler area were leaving the gate wide open instead of locking it again.. one of the toddler slides looked like it was broken at the bottom and needed pushing back into place.. the baby sensory zone was in an absolutely tiny cramped corner that would probably only fit one family in there and felt really cold in the corner.. we couldnât work out if the floor in that corner felt cold or damp but nonetheless it wasnât pleasant and certainly wouldnât feel calm and relaxing for a baby. The baby bouncer seat looked grubby too. We stayed here for a maximum of 10 minutes before we decided to leave as we didnât feel the environment was safe or clean for our little girl. Maybe we came on a bad day but unfortunately this experience has prevented us from returning. I donât usually write negative reviews either but we were very...
