Back in 1991 my wife, youngest son and me were involved in a voluntary conservation group that slit planted 100's of sapling at this site. It was good to go back and see how it has developed. It is a lovely green space now with paths through the fields and small woodland. It is still maintained solely by volunteers and a good job they are doing. There are plans for a wild flower area which I imagine will be good in due time. It seems well used by dog walkers. It can be very muddy and there is not a lot of parking by the entrance but I am sure some the nearby roads are unrestricted. An all round pleasant...
