We bought our tickets in January of 2024 for our visit in December and were very excited, me maybe more so than my adult daughter. We traveled from the US for a wedding and added this as a stop for me. We traveled via the underground to the train station and had two trains cancelled due to weather and then finally were able to get to Watford Junction (?) to catch the shuttle to your location. When we went to board the bus, Penny, the security guard said “I am so sorry but your tickets are for tomorrow.” To say I was devastated would be an understatement. We were in London for a wedding and my daughter had to attend the rehearsal the next day so we wouldn’t have been able to return. We went back into the train station and I was able to get a hold of Vicki in Customer Service and I explained my terrible mistake and how I had booked the wrong day. She was beyond helpful in re-booking everything for us as there were openings for Sunday, even going so far as to contact Stephen in Catering to see if we could re-schedule our afternoon tea also. He was most accommodating and said that they would make time for us at 4:00 pm. We were set and able to board the bus and arrived at the Studio.
When we arrived we went to the ticket window and spoke to Chioba, I am not 100% on her name, but she was a pleasant young lady that helped us with printing all of our tickets back out and we entered. Once inside we started our tour and loved EVERY SINGLE SECOND WE WERE INSIDE. We had arrived to the Platform 9 & ¾ area when it was time to go to the Tea and we spoke to Emily, who was working at the retail area directly across from the Hogwarts’s Express. We told her that we needed to get over to the Afternoon Tea and she was so friendly and helpful and walked us over there and since we had to go through a back area, we were able to stop and take a picture at the entrance doors to the Great Hall on our way over there. She loved her job and it was very apparent that she took pride in what she did.
When we arrived to the Tea, Stephen the catering manager was there to greet us and made my daughter and I feel like VIPS and one of the servers, Bimla, was beyond amazing. We have never experienced the kind of genuine care and service level as we did that afternoon. The food was great, the tea hot and flavorful, but the interaction with the staff was the absolute best part of our tea. When we were through, Stephen escorted us back to the tour area and we were able to finish out the rest of our day.
When I say that this was the single best day of any vacation or holiday that I have been on, I am not exaggerating. What started out as my biggest error ending up being a fantastic day and it was all thanks to the people that represent Warner Brothers Studio Tour London and The Making of...
Read moreAs a hard Harry Potter Fan from Germany, I was in seventh heaven when I finally stepped foot inside the Warner Bros. Studio Tour! The moment I walked into the Great Hall, it was pure magic – as if I had been transported straight to Hogwarts. I spent hours wandering through the incredibly detailed sets, taking my time to read the descriptions (which are only in English) and admire the craftsmanship.
While I had booked the digital guide, it was a bit impractical for someone like me who wears glasses, and the fit wasn't great due to the size of my head. However, there were staff members at almost every set who were able to provide additional, very interesting information and even show us some small details. At some of the larger sets, like the Knight Bus, they demonstrated and explained how the scene was created for the film, and the techniques, hydraulics, and tricks that were used.
Despite the large crowds, the atmosphere was very relaxed. Everyone was so excited and even helped each other find the best photo spots. There were often long lines for the passport stamping, but there was no pushing or shoving.
The food in the studio was okay, but nothing special. Some of it I didn't like at all, and the portions were rather small. The prices were a bit steep, but that's to be expected at such attractions, and I was able to wash it all down with some Butterbeer.
The absolute highlight for me was the second half of the tour with the special effects, masks, blueprints, and FX makeup! It was fascinating to see how much work and creativity went into the films – and again, there were some staff members who shared exclusive insights. There were also some very large sets in the second half that really drew you deep into the world of Harry Potter – I know I'm repeating myself, but it was just awesome.
I must also praise the staff! They were all super friendly and helpful. I had a small problem once, and they helped me immediately without any hesitation. I had forgotten something in my car, and they escorted me to my car and back without any fuss. Thank you very much again!
All in all, it was an unforgettable experience for me! The Studio Tour is a must for any Harry Potter fan. I highly recommend it, although I must say that I would have liked to see a few more interactive elements at the sets. It would have been fun to press buttons and see what happened.
If you have the chance, go and let yourself be enchanted! But I would also advise you to bring plenty of time and patience, because that's the only way to truly enjoy your...
Read moreAs a huge Potter fan, visiting Warner Bros. Studio was a dream come true for me and I can say with complete conviction that it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! I received a warm welcome as soon as I entered the grounds. The staff at the entrance and security checkpoint were incredibly friendly, helpful and cheerful – you immediately felt welcome and could sense that this place is run with a lot of passion. The studio itself is... hard to put into words. For someone who grew up with J.K. Rowling's magical world, it's simply magical. Every set, every costume, every tiny detail is presented with so much love and care.. it's like becoming part of the films yourself. Whether it was the Great Hall, the Forbidden Forest or Diagon Alley – there were goosebump moments everywhere.
Special thanks go to the staffs who really saved my day: my mobile phone battery was dead and I didn't have a power bank with me. A member of staff personally took me outside to the information point, helped me organise a power bank and even accompanied me back to the studio. This service was far more than I could have expected – absolutely top notch! Another highlight was the afternoon tea – fantastically beautiful and a lovely experience! The atmosphere was cosy and stylish, and the food was delicious. For anyone looking for the full experience, this extra is highly recommended. And now to perhaps the most impressive part of my visit: I had a personalised "Wanted" poster printed – a very special souvenir. Unfortunately, I lost it somewhere in the studio and only noticed later. As I was only in London for a weekend, I had little hope of getting it back. I contacted customer service – and what happened next was simply amazing: they reprinted my poster and sent it directly to me in Switzerland! Communication via email was quick, friendly and professional. Service like this really isn't a given – huge praise to the team!
Conclusion: Warner Bros. Studio Tour London is more than just an exhibition – it is an emotional, detailed and thoroughly magical experience. The excellent service is particularly noteworthy: from the reception staff to customer service, you are made to feel welcome and appreciated. A visit here is an absolute must for every fan of the Wizarding World. I will...
