I took part in a sponsored walk for Parkinson's Disease this morning around the grounds of this beautiful place in Antrim Castle. So tranquil and inviting to walk around. I will have to go back to enjoy more another time though. Lovely river walk also which takes a person to Lough Neagh, which I'm looking forward to doing sometime. Cosy little cafe on site, plus a shop & I have noticed that people can stay in mobile homes etc. Lots to see around the castle. ❤️🏰

NOT A CASTLE! I searched for 'attractions near me' and it pointed me out to Antrim Castle. But when I got there - all that's left is one corner of it. It's more of a castle ruins, and it won't take you long to see (about 30 seconds). The castle gardens next to it are lovely and are worth seeing, but don't stupidly drive for 30 minutes just to see this place like I did. Fair warning.

I was at Antrim castle for the Christmas event. Me, my daughter and my fiancé ordered 3 sausage meals from the cafe onsite. First of all they gave us 3 cocktail sausages each and a scoop of chips. The price came to £27 for these 3 so called meals. When I asked for printed receipt they said they could not provide one and could only give me a hand written one. The repciet machine was sitting right beside the till. Absolute daylight robbery. I get everyone has to make money but that is taking the hand out of people. This is not the only place I've left a review and also advised others who have been there to do the same. Nice place to go to but stay way clear of the cafe in the...

Big park with lots of different stuff providing intetest. Sights include the corner of a ruined castle, an artificial hill ascended by a spiral path, tea rooms in Old mews, varied landscaped garden areas, an old stone bridge over a river and a concert area. The clockwork garden, with its revolving trees and cheesy music, is one of the silliest things I have seen for a long time. Signposting to parking is useless. The satnav took us along a footpath. In the end, we parked outside a commercial area...
