Maddens Bar & Grill Antrim — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Sadly we were a party of three in for lunch. I got the Carbonara and it was given with overcooked penne pasta, was edible because I was hungry but, not good enough in terms of cost! Sadly the other two of our group got fish and chips (it was all they ate yesterday) and shortly after we arrived home one started feeling sick. The other member of the group then was vomiting and very sick too. We believe they both got food poisoning from this restaurant. The fish and chips were extremely greasy and the fish did seem cooked. However, both members of the group are very sick since eating here. I rang the restaurant to let them know and the staff member said he’d let management know. Obviously, it’s not the staff members fault but considering we spent £50 on food to end up sick it is a very poor response. Safe to say none of us will eat here again and would advise tourists against it as it’s not...

On holiday in N.Ireland met my family in Antrim, first time we went, to Maddens Bar, it was extremely friendly. A family run Bar. Had my family with me from Gosport, 3 grandchildren daughter inlaw Lorraine it was amazing being able to take the girls who also loved it. Great qee bar, excellent staff and some proper tasty pub grub. Very accomadting to your individual needs and there's a nice beer garden out back also. Good selection on the menu, chicken baskets very popular,.burgers are also very good the club sandwich or the steak sandwich will not disappoint very filling and they do a good fry.
