A delightful outlet center that has become a regular destination for us. Nestled alongside other leisure facilities like Xscape, it offers not just a shopping experience but a day out filled with food and entertainment options. Its proximity to the motorway makes it easily accessible, with lots of free parking it's perfect for those spontaneous decisions or planned outings.

Our love for this place is not just about convenience; it's also about the ambiance. Visiting during off-peak hours means we get to enjoy the ample space and the peace that comes with it, a rare treat in today's bustling world. However, this vast expanse of tranquility can sometimes feel a bit too quiet. It's a paradoxical experience—on one hand, we appreciate the tranquility; on the other, the lack of crowds highlights the empty units, a stark reminder of the current economic climate and its impact on retail spaces. Despite this, Junction 32 Castleford's charm and potential shine through.

The selection of outlets here is impressive, featuring a range of popular brands that cater to various tastes and preferences. From fashion to home decor, there's something for everyone, and it's all at discounted prices that make the heart of any bargain hunter skip a beat.

While some areas of the outlet do require a bit of attention and maintenance, it doesn't detract significantly from the overall experience. The place could certainly benefit from a bit of sprucing up to attract more visitors and potentially fill those vacant spots. However, the existing collection of shops and the ample areas to relax in provide plenty of reasons to visit.

This shopping centre was a complete surprise for me. I was actually looking for a ‘Blacks’ outdoors shop and discovered the only outlet version of this chain - quite a pleasant surprise as the prices were even cheaper than normal.

I hadn’t realised that there were other outlet centres and was a little surprised when I learnt that it wasn’t part of the set of centres that I had assumed were the only outlets in the country - now this was an eye opener.

Obviously a majority of the shops are the normal chains that you see in the other outlet centres but interestingly there were a number of unexpected stores, such as Blacks, that I hadn’t come across in this environment. The prices were the same as the other centres and so it came down to the anomalies that made it worth while.

Another bonus was the fact that Xscape was over the road which meant that there numerous eating establishments available and you would also be able to plan for a number of activities to suit your particular bent.

I am very pleased that I discovered this centre and I have already been back several times. It is definitely worth a look see if you get the chance and I would highly recommend having a mooch around if you...

Not being a lover of shopping, it seems strange to then give five stars to a shopping outlet. As in any of my reviews, I do 8t with an eye on Accessibility. This is one of the few places around where we can go as a family, dog and all, plus me on my mobility scooter and all be catered for.

Plenty of Disability parking spaces, good pathways to the shops, and all on the level, so easy to get round. Shops are easy to get into, most happy for dogs to go in too. There are the usual array of shops, (I'm no expert) and I like the fact that it's an outdoor centre where you're out in the open, nice on a sunny day, but can pop into the shops if it rains. Good bathroom facilities, but it would be good to get feedback from wheelchair users as to their thoughts on Accessibility too. Bit of an update 5 Sep 22. Disappointed when visiting the accessible toilet to find that the emergency red cord was way too high to be reached by someone in distress. Not just tied up as some are, but actually too short.
