Wakefield Westgate Station — Attraction in Wakefield

Big bus station but with a lot of issues.

Toilets are pay to use (which is sad) and there are quite a lot of hoodlums surrounding the place. Equally, the bus services are quite limited. I enter bus 118 towards Coca-Cola and it is limited till 18:10. I come all the way from Leeds to catch that bus. If I miss it, I trek from Ledger Lane to Coca-Cola. That is about 30 mins and I am always exhausted from it.

It's just a decent bus...

When I call ,which is usually from 11am to 3pm,there are 3or4 staff in their ticket office twiddling their thumbs and yapping to each other with nothing to do,yet they still expect,and get,above inflation pay rises every few months,because of silly fares which are way above global average.Boot these leaches out of their chairs and give them...

No waiting room.. Closed due to vandalism! Looked OK to me.

No toilets. No nothing.

An excellent volunteer was very helpful. She was a volunteer. Volunteers are not the way to run a national transport hub, this is not a steam train museum .. it is part of national rail network.

Shame on...
