Average pebbly beach, nothing spectacular to see (or do), I guess it's not crowded, but neither is it a beautiful unspoiled natural bay. It would be nice for taking the dogs for a swim, and it was clean for swimming, but a faff to walk on as pebbly beaches are, and if there is any sand to be seen there is far too little to entertain kids, and there are no rock pools or, well really anything other than miles of pebbles and wooden struts. It has clearly ticked some people's 5 rear review, but I grew up next to pebbly beaches (but with character and rockpools and big rocks to climb and nice to walk on and great for dogs) and literally surrounded by other nice beaches, so to me this beach was pretty bland and definitely not worth making a...
Read moreWhen the tide is in the beach is rather short but allows for a nice long walk along the top of the beach while only needing to take a matter of 10 steps down in order to get in the sea. Due to the short nature it can get a bit busy during hotter times but nothing a little walk out won't solve for some privacy.
