Best Breakfast I had in years. Been living in Eastbourne for over a Year and keep on walking past the restaurant it usally quite busy, until today I found a spot to dine in. Lovey staff who greeted me nicely, I had the early bird breakfast which was so delicious ate that quickly which is rare cuz im s slow eater, had a delicious mocha which I have no idea what they put in it but it was sweet and creamy which I like in a coffee and a Really Big Chocolate Pastery which I took home and was a nice way to end a nice Breaskfast/Brunch. What has happened to this great bakery? We were regulars but will NOT return. It seems that this restaurant/cafe/bakery has changed hands recently. Where there used to be friendly service, there is now surly, miserable looking staff who seem to have been conscripted to work rather than actually wanting to work there. No hello, food and drinks basically dropped onto the table and when it comes to pay the staff are chatting not being attentive. Tables are dirty, as is the floor. We found this great little traditional English Cafe a couple of years ago when looking to move down to Sovereign Harbour.

Well we are here now and this is our go to place for Sunday lunch. Only downside is it's so busy on Sunday you have to book.

The food is good home cooking nice and hot and extremely reasonably priced.

Katie the owner and staff are so welcoming and can't do enough for you. We have taken family and friends who have all loved the place.
