The splash park is a great place to take your children as this is a FREE facility. It has picnic benches and has astroturf grassed area within the grounds. The surface area of splash zone does become slippery, so it is advised that your children don't run around on it, but this is easier said than done. And if you do go on a sunny weekend, expect almost every child in Wellingborough to be there. Read moreThis whole area is great usually however my son and I visited yesterday only for an hour or so, the whole time the only water feature operating was a single arch with some water showering down. It was very hot and due to summer holidays it was overcrowded and everyone was filling up bottles, buckets or water pistols! My son eventually gave up and played on the play equipment instead but a water park should have a bit more water surely?
