I stop in a lot of Premier Inns around the country this one was pretty good. The room was clean and tidy, check-in was quick. All the staff were very friendly. Breakfast is in the Beefeater restaurant which is a short walk across the car park. Premier inn all you can eat breakfast is always great quality, its not a help yourself one though instead the waitress takes your order. Note this hotel does not have a lift, but its only two floors but choose a ground floor if you need it. The room did not have air-con, just a plug in electric fan. The view out the window was looking out onto the football pitch of Wellingborough Town. Deffo would stop at this hotel again.

Although the room rate of Premier Inn Wellingborough has gone up quite a bit in the last few years after the lift of the Covid-19 lockdown and since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Premier Inn keeps up its reputation with really clean room, spotless bathroom and crispy bedsheets. It is still good value for money. The staff are so nice and helpful. I want to take those opportunity to thank the long standing staff Kate. She is forever polite, cheerful, friendly, and helpful. She is the role model for other employees of Premier Inn. We will certainly stay again in our next Waendel Walking Festival weekend 2025.

Stayed for two nights and got no sleep whatsoever. Rooms were hot and sweltering, 30c each night. Had one fan which was totally useless. Ask a friendly staff member for another fan, which she duly helped with. Rooms were damp and smelled of damp after use of the bath or shower. Room where tidy though. I did feel sorry for the staff who were friendly and helpful. Your assured to a great night sleep at a Premier Inn. Don't think so. Management need to listen to there staff and sort out air conditioning and not have unhappy customers. Hotel poor 😔. Staff good 😊

Unfortunately not a great review of the hotel, restaurant, staff or premier inn head office. We arrived on Friday evening and checked in, went to to the pub/restaurant adjacent and asked if we could order and eat in the garden as it was quite hot still. All ok at this point, the staff member said he would take our order in a minute. When he came back We also asked for kids menu, again, staff member said ok back again to take our order. This happened repeatedly. People who came in after us were served before us. We were left waiting for the repeated return for about 20/25 mins and when another staff member came over from the hotel he asked what could he get us. We proceeded to order and at this point was told "we won't be able to squeeze you in". Not great when we had been there almost half an hour being led to believe the staff were coming back to take our order. No apology, no explanation. Relayed this issue to reception after finding elsewhere to eat, again, nothing was done to appease / resolve the issue.

Hotel was noisy, pretty much a rave going on somewhere late at night, doors slamming all night. Obviously not going to reception in the dead of night and no one on reception when we were going in the morning so no one to report to, we didn't have time to wait for someone to come back as we were due at the racetrack. Not sure what reception would have done seeing as they weren't interested in the issue with their restaurant anyway.

Informed premier inn head office/customer service and basically after giving pieces of information time and time again I was basically informed that their staff apologised to us at the time, offered to seat us in the restaurant within 10 mins but apparently we had decline, they also said they offered us drinks as an apology too which I can guarantee also didn't happen. So I and the party I was with were made to be a liars and informed that premier inn were sticking with that side of the story. Since coming home I've read countless reviews of people having issues here so clearly we were not lying and there staff were incompetent and trying to cover their own mistakes. Not prepared to give a business my money if this is there level of standards and service. Won't be staying...

I stayed here yesterday, and was very disappointed in this Premier Inn. Only reason I am giving more than 1 star is because of the decent bed and kind server at breakfast. At every other Premier Inn I've been to, staff notify you of breakfast times/place and check out times etc. This is the only Premier I've been to where the Beefeater was closed at 3pm (says permanently closed on Google) and breakfast was not self-service. I went to breakfast at 10:15am (breakfast runs until 10:30am), looking forward to the inclusive full-english I usually have before a long day of work. I was told that the hot breakfast had already been put away, and if I wanted to order, there might only be leftovers. I was met with a cold sausage and two hash browns from the kitchen (see photo attached). Coffee machine was broken, pretty evident that chefs came across lazy and lacking any care for customer service, especially when people have paid for an all-inclusive breakfast. Luckily, the server (Selvie) was absolutely lovely and tried their best to send me off with a decent meal and hot coffee. Restaurant would be a shambles without them.

Very disappointed in my experience here. Kitchen staff and nonchalant desk staff totally let...

On arrival at the PI we were greeted by a cold but happy smile (-3 degrees) from the receptionist. Room very clean & comfortable bed.

This is the moment where things go downhill. Walked into the ex beefeater restaurant for an evening meal (meal deal) & were met by a drab looking place which looked like an ex public bar, needs a tremendous update. The staff behind the bar seemed inexperienced (in my opinion). We have used various PI over the 12 years ever 8 - 12wks with 100% satisfaction. The meal was served fairly quickly & was hot & tasty value for money. Breakfast the following morning we were in a fairly updated restaurant, again met by a friendly welcome (the same as the receptionist) ordered our food, full english brekky for myself & porridge for the wife which was fairly quickly served, but forgotten the wife’s porridge which was quickly redressed but only approximately half of a measuring. Getting back to my full english very well cooked but served COLD on a warm plate.

Would I stay at this PI again, yes for the hotel but a very big NO for the so called restaurant Ex...
