I have always been interested in the history of the blankets and the connection to the Hudson’s Bay in Canada as well as the classic Earlys of Witney Newmarket horse blanket. We met Sarah who works in the hall and she was so delightful to chat with and a wealth of knowledge of all the history of the weavers and the hall itself. It was truly a highlight of our trip. We ended up purchasing two blankets and 10 scarves for ourselves and souvenirs for family and friends. I would’ve bought more if I had more room in my luggage! Definitely worth...
Read moreThe place is a museum and a cafe at the same time, it has got everything tha concerns the local trade history. If you are in for a speedy meal you are NOT in the right place. It will take ages to get your food, even if you are the only table.
