Wasn't sure what to expect here, as this was just a visit on our way to an event. We were very pleasantly surprised!

Staff were friendly and accommodating from the moment we walked in. Food was served incredibly quickly and was fantastic.

I had the "Frank" which was a breakfast served in an English muffin. Not something you can eat like a burger unless you have a detachable jaw because it was filled with a full fry - egg, bacon, sausage patty and hash browns, plus some caramelised onions and some cheese thrown in for good measure, topped off with a tangy barbeque sauce.

My partner had an excellent French toast with the works - mascarpone, berries, biscoff, nuts, etc. Very moreish! Kid had a simpler version with just maple syrup. Both delicious and very manageable portions.

Coffee was excellent. Big brand coffee shops should really take note because smaller places like this have it down to an art.

Now, it wasn't cheap but it also definitely wasn't expensive for what we got. Not something I'd do every week but great for going out with friends or family for a bit of brunchy goodness.

Would recommend and would definitely...

Busy brunch place with some nice options and good coffee.

Positives first - walk ins available (came on Saturday at around 11:30am). Nice coffee. Good quality ingredients and delicious sausage patty. Crisp hash browns made perfectly. Interesting menu options. My fiance enjoyed the huge breakfast muffin stack and it looked impressive!

Slight negatives - no option for a full English (no beans, tomato or mushroom on menu). I got the Turkish eggs which were tasty enough (quite herbal in flavour) with well toasted bread but a bit disappointing/not what I expected as too much yoghurt, not enough tomato and not spicy at all really (couldn't taste the rose harissa). Also we were sat near the door on a cold day and there is no barrier e.g. screen/panel to shield you from the wind coming through (lots of people ordering takeaway coffee). Also service a bit slow and we had to ask for water twice before it was brought over.

Came to £40 for 2 coffees, a side of hash browns and sausage patty, and 2 mains. Pricing...

Been coming for a few months now and the quality is as good as always. Coffee is great, food equally good. Doesn’t have the same boring menu that you can get in every other breakfast place. They’ve really added their own style to the food and everything tastes very different to other items. I’ve tried almost everything they have and all of them are excellent. My favourite at the moment is the Turkish eggs. A problem a lot of places like this run into is making portion sizes too small but here’s its perfect. You leave feeling satisfied.

The staff are very nice. Only small downside is that sometimes the place is very busy and the staff forget to take your order or your food takes a while to arrive but nothing major.

Hope they continue the standard. Currently this is my top...

So, one of the best breakfasts we've had. Lovely place with very welcoming warm staff. Coffee was great, the food choices were perfect as well. I has the smashed avo and eggs - bang on the money and a decent size. My good lady had the halloumi bagel with chili jam, she really enjoyed it. But to top all of this, I had one of their freshly baked doughnuts....by the bead of Zeus, it was spectacular. Thank you for such a great experience. This place will be remembered for a long time to come.
