Jill's Garden — Attraction in Weston-super-Mare

Although it has been open some years it was the first time I visited. Set away from the town in a beautiful park.. Which has many features and definitely worth a visit. Jill's garden was rather disappointing. A small area and thou I believe attached to the hospice which Jill was patron of.. So an area of reflection.. I come here regularly The squirrels are friendly. They sit on my lap and let me feed them. There is a fish pond here, but empty at the moment due to a leak, the fish has been rehomed. Awaiting the council to repair the pond. A tabletop stall held weather permitting on a Mon/Wed/Thurs 9.30-2.15pm to raise funds for the park. A child's park at the top of Grove Park. Went for the remembrance service parade. Place was packed. Plenty of seating usually. Good quiet place to go usually. Cafe in main park with lots of seating. Band stand and an interesting guarded pond for little ones to look at. Lots of room for them to run about and usually no one bothers if there is a reasonable amount of noise.
